Saturday 10th May - Leanne & John

What beautiful weather we're having at the moment, truly a photographers dream Saturday !
It was an early start over at Johns house (actually we were there before he was !) and his Mum Sam made us feel at home as did the rest of the family. We spent an hour with the boys and then it was off to the girls at Chapel Hill, where spirits were high and the girls all looked gorgeous ! including Stephanie (8) who grilled us fairly well on who we knew in the family and how we knew them ! I think she could have a future in law enforcement ..

We headed from the girls over to Mt Gravatt to the Greek Orthodox church where all the guests were made to wait outside for Johns big arrival, and he didn't disappoint !

John & Leanne were married in a traditional Greek ceremony and I can tell you there was plenty of rice thrown as the newlyweds made there departure from the church !

We headed from there into the city where we spent some time shooting in two or 3 locations before heading back to The Tattersals Club for the reception.

Guys congratulations on a beautiful day & I'm sure you'll have a great time overseas on your Honeymoon !

Friday May 9th - Jen & David

5 Years ago I had the pleasure of shooting the Wedding of Kerry & Andrew, on Friday we met up once again for me to shoot Kerry's Brothers Wedding. It was great to see Kerry & Andrew again, (you guys still look the same !) I also had the pleasure of meeting their two new additions to the family Nick & Zoe.

Jen & David were married at St Davids Church at Chelmer just around the corner from where Jen grew up. It was a beautiful ceremony and the group shot outside was a blast !

We left the guests for an hour or so and shot some beautiful images just around the corner in Laurel Ave .. Then it was back to Hillstone at St Lucia for the reception.

Congratulations guys and have a great honeymoon !

"Deja Vu" Back to Maleny - a new beginning.....

"A New Beginning" - and that new beginning would belong to Colleen & Jamie, who tied the knot up at Maleny on Sunday. Yes it's been a whole week since I was last up at the Beautiful Maleny Manor, and what a difference 7 days can make to the weather ! Last week was showers and umbrellas and this week was beautiful blue skies !

We started our day with Colleen & the girls getting ready at her sister Margaret's property at North Arm, just outside of Yandina. Spirits were high as the champagne flowed and everyone was looking forward to the festivities that would follow in the afternoon. It was a glorious day at Maleny Manor and the ceremony was held looking out towards the breathtaking views of the coast ..

After the family photos we jumped in the cars and headed out to shoot a few locations around Maleny, including Mary Cairncross Park, local vineyards & Falls .. Then it was back to the Manor for the reception.

Congratulations Colleen & Jamie on a beautiful ceremony, we had a blast hanging out with you guys and I know your Honey Moon will be just as much fun !

Magnificent Maleny !

Yesterday saw us up the coast at beautiful Maleny, for the Wedding of Nicole & Chris.
We were greeted with blue skies as we left Brisbane and I had high hopes for a beautiful day.
Well that turned a bit pear shaped just after lunch as the clouds started to roll in .
Both the Ceremony & the Reception were held at Maleny Manor
We had showers on & off and some pretty windy moments but these guys were awesome ! Nothing that Mother Nature could throw at us was going to stop Nicole & Chris from enjoying their day !

A quiet moment shared between Mother & Daughter - no words were spoken, nor were they needed.

We Headed off into the rain late afternoon - the cloud was thick all around us.

Nicole & Chris were up to the challenge when it came to braving the wet cow paddocks we went walking though - we still managed to get some beautiful images !

Sara & Michael

Well the Easter Bunny has been and I decided not to work over the break this year but spend the break with the family, so now back from our weekend away I thought I'd better post last weekends wedding.

Sara & Michael - 15th of March 2008

Sara was a picture of Beauty in her dress as were her Brides Maids ..

Sara & Michael were married at St Brigids Church Red Hill, it was a beautiful ceremony and there was the odd tear ..

I'd shot Michael's Sisters wedding a few years ago so it was nice to see Brenda & Scott (+1) again too.

Sara & Michael were a dream to shoot ! we pretty much laughed all day and the whole Bridal Party had a ball !

Congratulations once again guys & have a great honeymoon !

Well with a wet start to the the day I thought I may have had to drag out the trusty umbrellas but the rain had cleared by mid-morning and it ended up a beautiful day ! Sarah looked gorgeous in her dress and Grant a handsome groom ! Sure there may have been a hiccup or two (Grant I won't say anything about you forgetting your flowers if you don't, wink wink) but after Mum got back with the boys flowers we headed into the church and it was a beautiful ceremony ! It was off to Shorncliffe Pier for a few photos and then back to Victoria Park Golf Club for the reception .. Have a great time in Thailand guys and Congratulations once again !
