Catching up with friends ....

We were meant to be away camping this last weekend just gone (Australia Day) but as it turned out Mother Nature had planned otherwise and the wet weather kept us in Brisbane.
So we took the opportunity to catch up with some friends and take a few piccies of their newest addition to the family. - and so I introduce

"Rowan"

I don't get much of a chance to shoot babies these days as Weddings keep me so busy, but it was nice to take the time to shoot this little guy, so innocent and pure.
It makes me wonder what his future will bring.
These moments are so precious ..

Marnie & Ian - 3rd January 2009

Well what a way to kick off the year ! these guys were awesome, from the moment we met up with Ian & his Groomsmen we laughed all day !

Marnie & Ian left their home in Notting Hill London to come back home and share their special day with family & friends - their ceremony was held on the stairs at the beautiful Stamford Plaza in Brisbane. The weather was less than average so the call was made at the last minute to bring the ceremony indoors ..

We left the boys and headed over to the Stamford where Marnie and her Brides Maids were getting ready.. Marnie has a twin Sister Lisa, Lisa is older than Marnie by a whole 7 minutes ..

Double trouble ...

We headed back to the Stamford where the reception was starting to unfold, we also ran a slide show presentation of the days images at the reception, well it was just beautiful.
Marnie & Ian thankyou so much for letting me be a part of your most special day.
The next time I'm over in Notting Hill I'll be sure to pop by for a warm beer .. Eeeek ..
Maybe I'll stick with the Coronas ..
